Musiversal Goes Limitless

Musiversal is on a mission to redefine music production — making world-class, unlimited professional live recording accessible to everyone, everywhere, and with one subscription. Working with the team at Musiversal and strategist Neil Cohen, we set out the redefine Musiversal's brand to manifest a newly defined north star: Your Music, No limits. Through close collaboration we defined a full-spectrum brand identity that celebrates creativity without limits. From a bespoke typeface and vibrant colour system to human-centered photography, expressive illustration, motion language and sonic identity (more on that to come). Every element crafted to amplify the creativity, energy, and connection at the heart of real-time music collaboration.

This has all been designed to lift the limits on creativity. At its core is a graphic language inspired by the magic of waveforms appearing on screen during recording sessions. This visual thread runs throughout the identity, while a vibrant spectrum of colour brings every application to life — in both static and motion.

We worked closesly with type foundry Displaay to recraft Season Bold, running the geometry of the waveform through newly crafted characters and alternate glyphs.

The character, warmth and creativity of Musiversal’s musicians and members oozes from lifestyle photography shot for Musiversal by LA-based Rachel Kupfer and Rio-based Rafael Meliga, while New York based illustrator Spencer Gabor perfectly captured that No Limits feeling with a suite of illustrations designed to be used freely across applications.

Musiversal Orchestras is the brand’s white-glove service, led by expert producers to ensure every project reaches the highest standards from start to finish. Need a 36-piece orchestra for your latest work? Book it — and witness the magic unfold. The Orchestras identity reinterprets the master brand, drawing on the darker secondary colours and using the ‘Mix’ cut of Season. A thoughtful detail from Displaay, this typeface blends sans and serif characteristics into a single, distinctive design.

A huge thank you to Xavier, André, and the entire Musiversal team whose close collaboration and incredible spirit brought this vision to life in ways we never thought possible.
